John W. Neuberger received his Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin in 1957 under the direction of H. S. Wall. His primary research interests include nonlinear semigroup theory, descent methods for partial differential equations, and the study of quasianalyticity. Throughout his career he has consulted for various governmental and industrial organizations, and has also worked extensively with scientific computation.
